My Answer to Suze Orman

This was my answer to Suze Orman ( she is the renowned home-financial advisor of Yahoo Finance ) and she asked in today Yahoo main page a help for her new book about money and kids - through Yahoo Answers .

Firstly : they need to know that the money are power over the other people. The money are useless by itself ; it is necessary only in relationship to the other humans.

Secondly : take care about the people, then the numbers will take care of themselves. This is the nature of each good business .

Third : like the Rome wasn't built in a day, so the money aren't to be made in a day, too : you have to be patient, persistent, and original.

Forth : money means success and to be smart. Why ? just look here : 1.. to be smart means to make money , 2.. to be intelligent means to know to solve problems, 3... to be wise mean to know what problems you choose to resolve in your life . Well, Suze, the question was only about money, not about wisdom, but maybe this helps, too .. And, the success means to a-c-h-i-e-v-e what you w-a-n-t-e-d to achieve. Yes, you have to *want the money in order to *achieve it. Teach your children to *WANT TO HAVE MONEY !

Fifth : success depends of three factors : A, A, A ( all three are "A", like in the school ) . They are Attitude, Aggressiveness, Aspect . I hope everybody here ( and mostly the most successful ones ) will agree with that.

Sixth tip : Believe everybody , expect nobody . Yes, to know things is just a weight on top of your shoulders if you dont act immediately...

Seventh : make a goal, not just any foggy one, but a very precise one : some "visible" house, car, whatever, and TRUST that you can achieve it ( yes, the seventh tip is also about FAITH !! )

Eight : behave toward your children as they are adults . Our parents might behave only like that. Take all seriously, enjoy your children, build their wings of dreams, and help them fulfill the deep nature of their real power ( each child has specific abilities for a specific job/business/whatever - this will be the root of his success ) - learn them being natural and BEST in whatever they endeavour, and they will achieve very fast the ABUNDANCE in their life.

Nine : just teach children with your facts, not with your words. Teach them to follow you, not to listen you.

Ten : encourage them to ask questions . Most often it is much important to put the appropriate question - that will drive to the finding of the appropriate answer than just to keep answering. The contradiction born the progress. Read them/you the *Prophete* of Kahlil Gibran , the *Alchemist* of Paolo Coelho , "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" of Kiyosaki and maybe "Who move my cheese" and maybe they will understand the fluid nature of money.

Well, make those 10 points with your children and this will suffice.

ELEVEN : yes, there is always an ELEVEN in our lives . In numerology 11 is the number of chance ... You know, the best *approach toward the chance is the following : BE PREPARED. (When the pupil is ready, the teacher shows himself on ). Yes, to have fruits from the chance, you must to be prepared in order to catch it. Insist in tuition of your children ALWAYS, because KNOWLEDGE means POWER. Period.

Twelve : always follow the path : THE MENTORS. Better to learn from mistakes of others ( that is wisdom ) instead of your mistakes ... Most often people name "experience" their failures. Why that ? Because of the deep nature of the people : we often consider what we dont know as unimportant ( this is the harsh definition of the ignorance... ). The culture is what remain onto our minds after we forgot all whatever we learnt - this is a funny definition. Yes, because our greatest ennemies are the lack of knowledge, the ignorance and the oblivion. You cannot fight something you don't know that exist.

My last advise : teach children to build value . Nothing is coming from nothing. You must give outside value in order to receive in exchange power.
